This information was emailed home to families this afternoon.
We would like to remind you of a few important details and updates. Please remember to check the HPE WEBSITE for the most up to date information. Soon our website might look a little different as we are moving towards a new platform.
Sidewalk construction: We are very excited about receiving a $10,000.00 Grant from Drax to excavate the slopes on the west side of the school and create a 6ft wide concrete pathway. The district will be supplementing this grant to complete the project. We are looking forward to having a clean space to access the classrooms going forward. The construction preparation is set to start tomorrow, November 7. During this time the classes at this side of the school will not have access to their exterior classroom doors, (unless needed for emergency exit). The students will temporarily line up and will be accessing the building through the Strong Start entrance or the back doors. We will be setting up cones for the students to line up at the front of the school for Mrs.Kalf, Ms.Myhre and Ms.Johnson’s classes and at the back of the school for Mr. Byrnes’ and Mr. Benge’s classes. Please have your child line up behind the cones and the teacher will make their way to get their students at the bell. Thank you for your patience during this transition, the finished product will help keep our school (and students) clean and free from debris.
