Winter Concert Information - Thursday, December 18

Our students are excited to perform for our HPE school community at our Winter Concert on Thursday, December 18.  We ask that parents enter and exit the school using the outside entrance to the gym and follow our parking instructions.  In an effort to keep learning a priority, we ask that you remain in the gym between concerts or leave the school and return if you are attending more than one concert in the day. Lost and found will be available in the middle hallway, please feel free to make a quick trip to the hallway to view that area. We respectfully request that you do not visit your child's classroom while at the school for the winter concert. You may take photos of your child performing but please do not post these photos on social media unless you have permission from parents of ALL students in the photo. Please be aware that many families have not given consent for the sharing of photos on these platforms.

In addition to the regular parking at our school and the overflow parking at the IPE grounds, on this day ONLY, parking is also allowed from 8:15 am – 1:45 pm in the Kiss and Ride Lane and Bus Lane. It is important that you remove your vehicle if parked in the Kiss and Ride or Bus Lane before 1:45 pm for regular pick up.  DO NOT park behind the school as that area is designated for Staff and Daycare traffic ONLY. Use crosswalks when making your way to the school from the parking lot. Park in designated parking spots only.

Our music teachers have requested our students wear the following for our Winter Concert:

Vallance: Vallance's class HPE gear/colours or grad hoodies if they have arrived in time and fun Christmas hats (Santa/elf)

Bynes: Red and black.

Benge: All black – no logos on the top place. Turn shirts around or inside out if needed. Black socks and shoes as well if possible

MacDonald: White and black. Classic concert attire. Christmas style hats are encouraged.

Daughtry: Blue, white, silver. Think ice and snow.

Ricard: Snow pants

Coombs: Grinch outfits or green and red

Fassbender: Brown top, black bottoms. Reindeer antlers if you have them!

Kalf: Blue, white, silver. Think ice and snow.

Terrell: If your child is an elf: red/green or elf style outfits and hats. If your child is a reindeer: brown top, black bottom and antlers if you have them. If your child is Santa: whatever you have that is Santa! Santa hat, all red ect…

Cooper: General Christmas clothing. Fancy dresses, Christmas sweaters, red/green ect.

Johnson: Snow gear. They will need snow pants, jacket, mittens, hat and boots that are clean.

Myhre: Think Christmas tree. Green tops and sparkly accessories.
